State Rep. James Hoops | The Ohio House of Representatives
State Representative Jim Hoops has been named Chair of the Ohio House Development Committee for the 136th General Assembly. The appointment was made by Ohio House Speaker Matt Huffman.
"As Chair of the Development Committee, I am committed to working on legislation that spurs economic opportunity and growth in our communities," Hoops stated.
Hoops is in his fourth and final term representing Ohio's 81st House district, which includes all of Fulton, Henry, and Williams counties, as well as part of Defiance County. Alongside his new role as chair, he will also serve on the House Commerce and Labor, Community Revitalization, and Finance committees.
