State Representative Jim Hoops has brought attention to an upcoming Cybersecurity Conference, organized by Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose. The event is scheduled for June 6, 2025, at the University of Toledo's Thompson Student Union.

The conference will run from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., focusing on cybersecurity fundamentals for small businesses. Among the speakers are Dave Hatter from InTrust IT, Josh Culling from Dezenhall Resources, Matt Perry from Buckeye Broadband, Bill McCreary from the University of Toledo, and Ken Fanger from On Technology Partners.

“This is a great opportunity for Ohioans from rural communities and small business owners to come together to learn about the ever-evolving cybersecurity landscape in Ohio,” said Hoops.
