State Rep. Roy Klopfenstein | The Ohio House of Representatives
State Representative Roy Klopfenstein from Haviland has been appointed as the new Chairman of the House Agriculture Committee. Klopfenstein expressed his gratitude for the appointment, stating, "I am honored to chair the House Agriculture committee and lead legislation for Ohio’s #1 industry." He shared a personal connection to farming, recalling, "When I was six years old, I knew I wanted to be a farmer. I appreciate House Leadership’s trust in me and look forward to putting my 58 years of farming to work for the Buckeye State."
This change follows the departure of Former State Representative Don Jones from Freeport, who vacated his seat in the Ohio House.
