State Representative Roy Klopfenstein of Haviland, Ohio, will attend the unveiling ceremony of the Staff Sargent Zach Wobler Memorial Highway in Paulding on Friday, April 11. The event, set to begin at 1:00 pm, commemorates Staff Sergeant Zachary Wobler, with U.S. Route 127 dedicated as a tribute to his legacy.

"Staff Sargent Wobler paid the ultimate price for protecting our freedom," Representative Klopfenstein stated. "This is just a small part in honoring his sacrifice by naming this section of US Route 127."

Initiated by Representative Klopfenstein, the legislation aims to honor the memory of Staff Sgt. Wobler from Ottawa, Ohio. Wobler was killed in action in 2005 while serving with the Army's 2nd Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division. Both northbound and southbound lanes of U.S. Route 127, between Road 126 and Paulding County Road 60, will bear his name.
