Today was an extra special day for Akron Fire's Steve Dort. The Optimist Club of Akron presented Steve with the 2022 Fire/Medic of the Year Award. At The New Era Restaurant over 45 friends and family were there to celebrate and see Steve receive this award. A coworker said " Thanks for your positive outlook and great attitude, it's contagious." Congratulations Steve!
