2021 has 4.8% of Henry County residents unemployed

Henry County recorded an unemployment rate of 4.8% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 668 people out of the 27,618 living in Henry County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Henry County has increased compared to the 4.5% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Henry County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 5.3%.

Of the 13,369 people who had a job during that time, 11 were employed in the Armed Forces and 13,358 belonged to the civilian labor force.
