3.8% of Fulton County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Fulton County recorded an unemployment rate of 3.8% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 812 people out of the 42,709 living in Fulton County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Fulton County has decreased compared to the 4.4% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Fulton County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 5.3%.

Of the 20,605 people who had a job during that time, 17 were employed in the Armed Forces and 20,588 belonged to the civilian labor force.
