Putnam County Health Department issued the following announcement on February 2.
Beginning today, February 2, 2022, Putnam County Health Department (PCHD) will change how they notify and follow-up with positive COVID-19 cases in residents. PCHD will notify the positive COVID-19 cases by text message. For those who do not have text, a contract company will follow up with a phone call.
Here is the new process:
1️. The positive COVID-19 case will receive a text message from the phone number(833)-924-3894.
2️. Within the text will include a link to isolation and quarantine guidance, so they can immediately begin self-isolation to avoid further spread.
3️. If the positive COVID-19 case has questions or concerns to call Putnam County Health Department at (419)-523-5608.
