On Friday, April 18, former Defiance High School standout Bradyn Shaw’s current college team, the Akron Zips, won 12-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Northern Illinois Huskies.

The game took place at Ralph McKinzie Field at Walt and Janice Owens Park. This was their second matchup against the Huskies this season.

The Zips’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 19 at 1 p.m. at Ralph McKinzie Field at Walt and Janice Owens Park against Northern Illinois Huskies.
